Q:What’the different of cutting materical between  SteelTailor plasma cutting and SteelTailor flame cutting?

How to connect plasma cutter with cnc cutting machine with cable connetor?


A:
One of Cable connetor link to plasma cutter, another link to CNC cutting machine. It is so easy and convenient.

Q: How to change the plasma machine  power source , We require the wiring color code for CNC interface plug Example , arc + arc - ,  ok to move , start 

A: The ARC+ is red, and ARC- is black.
To identify the other four wires.
There are two ways:
1. In AUTO mode, press IGNITING or CUTOXY, then use a multi meter to measure which two wires of these four are short circuited, these two wires will be START wires.
2. The other way is, go to DIAGNOSE in main menu, short circuit any two wires of these four, if the DLZ in INPUT becomes 1, which means these two wires are FINISH wires.

Q:The prie of SteelTailor plasma power is higher than other suppliers?

Q) Can we use HyperTherm plasma MAX PRO 200 with power series machine?
 
A) The HyperTherm plasma cutter MAX Pro 200 is high current mix gas plasma. The plasma torch itself is bigger and weight is more than the normal air plasma Torch. Since power series is a cantilever kind of machine the higher weight of the torch cannot be handled.

Q) Can High Frequency plasma cutter used with SteelTailor Machines?
 
A) SteelTailor is well protected and can work with any issues with High Frequency plasma machines. When you connect such plasma machine make sure the ARC voltage feedback is taken before the High frequency transformers. In such plasma machines the high frequency transformer is the last part connected to the Torch terminal.

Q) What is the use of ARC- and ARC+, in the plasma interface cable?

A) Arc + and ARC- wires take the plasma Arc voltage feedback to the CNC and the THC, The THC use thing feedback to adjust the plasma torch height automatically. So if this feedback signal is not coming correctly or not connected well the THC will not do the automatic height control.

Q) The plasma power  is not starting when the CNC is in plasma mode, But if you set the CNC in flame mode the Plasma power source ignites.
 
A) The problem is caused because the CNC parameter is not set correct. Make sure in PLASMA parameters set the ARC ON M ORDER as 12 and ARC OFF M ORDER as 13. This should be set like this always never change.
