From Jan. 19th to 24th, 2012, during the Spring Festival of Dragon year, in the city of south India, Bangalore, Imtex 2012 had been held successfully. 

The six-day fair is one of the most important industry fairs in India. During the long six days, the visitors are in an endless stream, except the first day. Until 5 o'clock in the last day, about one hour to the end of the fair, many exhibitors were still receiving visitors at their booths, while for other fairs, the afternoon of the last day is usually time for leaving preparation.    

From the reception status of our booth and some exhibitors’ points of view with whom we are familiar, both the quality and quantity of visitors in this fair are very good.

Imtex will be held every year. Every two year is the theme of metal forming and every one year is the theme of lathe. Most exhibitors in the industries of related welding will participate in the every two years’ exhibition.

During this show, many companies such as Trumpf, Salvagnini, IPG and Flow had their laser cutting machines, water jet cutting machines and pressing equipments.

Many famous Plasma companies like Hypertherm and Kjellberg are all on this show.

Messer their fiber laser & meticulous plasma cutting machine. Two local enterprises their table model cutting machine and light-weight CNC cutting machine separately.A portable cantilever cutting machine Indian company also a small portable cantilever cutting machine made by themselves on the show. According to the local company, their controller is imported from China, and they assembled the mechanical parts. The manufacturer also told us this machine their first product, and they haven’t got any order yet before the fair. Another Chinese laser exhibitors, one yag laser machine on the show. In addition, Shenzhen Zhongweixing also put on the showshowcased various kinds of lathe controllers.

Indian welding machines have boosted a history of almost 10 years. Some famous Plasma companies such as Hypertherm and Kjellberg have been running 3 years in the local market, and they have set up their own representative offices there. Messer, a representative International brand CNC cutting machines have 3 years of manufacturing history. It is said they had sold more than 150 high-end equipments.

Indian local cutting machines are still in the starting stage. The metal sheet processing technology is still very poor, which makes most of their machine’s appearances very rough. In addition, their main parts still depend on import.
