This torch height control system makes the portable cutting machine more powerful for plasma cutting application.

When applied in cutting, the height between cutting torch and the metal sheet can be set via using a height adjustment knob. A preset height between the cutting torch and the plate can be controlled. Appropriate height preset during plasma cutting ensures cutting quality.

Protection-CAP initial positioning is applied to this torch height control system. When initial positioning starts, the plasma torch will move down and reach the metal sheet. A contact signal will be feedback once the protection-cap of the torch touches the metal. Initial positioning is realized.
