7.7. Diagnostic mode
7.7.1. Diagnostic mode display

Press 【F4】 DIAG from the main menu to enter into Diagnostic Mode, and the screen will display diagnostic mode interface (see picture 29). The system diagnose function can check whether the port is normal or not by checking the input/output signal of SteelTailor CNC portable Cutting Machine. The diagnostic mode interface displays the resources the system offers, and we can check the following port in this mode.
INPUT: There are 16 input ports. (1: Enable 0: disable)
OUTPUT: There are 16 output ports. Move the cursor to the port you want to check and change the signal state of it by setting the value from ‘0’ to ‘1’ or ‘1’ to ‘0’. (1: enable; 0: disable).
7.7.2. Procedure
1. Press 【F4】DIAG
2. Move the cursor to any port you want to check
3. Input the value of the port(1 or 0)
4. Change the value of the port(from1to 0 or from 0 to 1)
5. Observe the action of the corresponding port
6. Draw a conclusion whether the port is normal or not according to the action of the port of SteelTailor CNC portable Cutting Machine
7. Record the conclusion
8. Repeat the steps from 2 to 7 to check each port and record the conclusion.
