5. Installation of Fast CAM Software
Refer to the Reference Manual in the Fast CAM software package for the installation information of the cutting software Fast CAM Standard version in your computer.
Select “START” by clicking the corresponding box to start your installation from the controller list. Then follow the reminder of the software to install the cutting software step by step.

6. Operating Panel
6.1. Introduction
The Command Panel is located in the face of the SteelTailor Command Unit.
There are three parts in the Command Panel of SteelTailor CNC portable Cutting Machines:
1. High resolution 5.7” LCD display
2. Function keys
3. Input/Command keys (See picture 20)

4.8.1. Electrical Panel description
All the electrical connections will be done from the Electrical Panel located on the side of the Control Unit of SteelTailor CNC Cutting Machine. See picture 14. (Refer to the chapter 8 for the electrical connections of AVC.)

The yellow button on the front panel of SteelTailor CNC Cutting Machine can enable or disable the gear of the X and Y motors. Press this button to disengage the gear when a manual positioning is needed. Push the yellow button again to re-engage the gear of the motors once the manual positioning is finished.
